SPEAKING
Cat is an engaging and passionate speaker, combining her experience as an expedition leader in challenging environments around the world with her background in leadership development in financial services. This results in a unique and interesting perspective on leadership that is both relevant for today's leaders in business and inspiring to listen to. Cat also draws on her skills as an executive coach and her own experience of leaving the corporate world to start a business she is truly passionate about.
As a (relatively) young female, Cat has led expeditions to the Arctic Circle, Everest Base Camp, Cambodia, India, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Swaziland and Peru. Her experience as a leader encourages other women to consider what might be possible for them, and provides a refreshing view of 'what makes a leader.'
All talks and workshops can be adapted in length and message to suit the needs of the audience.

Leadership Lessons From Everest Base Camp
What do you get when you have a team of 14 people, ranging from age 21 to 71, some on their first big trip, some as seasoned adventurers, and take them to survive together in altitudes of over 5300m for 24 days?
Throw in 2 helicopter evacuations, a range of medical challenges, culture shock, language differences, some 'interesting' toilets and a team of 13 Sherpas to manage....
These are just some of the leadership situations Cat faced while guiding the challenging 3 Peaks and 3 Passes route to Everest Base Camp. In her talk, she draws out the lessons she learnt about leadership, and herself, in a poignant mix of serious and light-hearted stories. From monitoring the breathing of a client with the potentially deadly condition of high altitude pulmonary oedema every 30 minutes through a long night while waiting for a helicopter evacuation, to encouraging her team to summon said helicopter through the medium of interpretive dance, Cat encourages the audience to reconsider the key aspects of leaderships. This includes:

Feedback On Cat As A Speaker
From Women in Banking and Finance Event, February 2020
"I was really delighted that Cat came to speak at our Women in Banking and Finance event. We had a full room of attendees and Cat did a brilliant presentation, talking through her own career journey and the significant changes that she made. We explored ‘how to get the career you really want’ through the model Cat introduced us to and used that to challenge each other on any changes we wanted to make to our career, whether these were big or small. There were loads of great questions, which Cat was more than delighted to answer and help guide us through. Overall, it was a great evening with loads of positive feedback from the attendees - Cat provided a thoroughly enjoyable and though-provoking workshop as well as a useful technique that can be applied to multiple scenarios in both personal and work life, so thank you once again Cat." - Nicola Russell, Women in Banking & Finance, Edinburgh.
From HSBC Professional Excellence Event
"HSBC were lucky enough to host a professional excellence event in conjunction with WiBF with Cat Trebilco as the guest speaker. Cat delivered an exceptional presentation focused on career transition that encouraged people to think about their current situation, where they want to be in the future and any radical changes that might be needed to make it happen. The presentation involved a practical exercise using the NLP methodology to start the thought process and generated a huge amount of energy in the room demonstrating how passionate people are about this topic."
Louise Cowan, HSBC Security Services
